I decided to watch some more TV until I started tripping heavily. I was very anxious, because I have never hallucinated before. I was really amused by this, and told my friends about it.
I started looking at things in my room, hoping to see more hallucinations. One of the most amusing things I saw was my hub it's a piece of network hardware , and how it kept on twitching. Almost like it was dancing. I saw a lot of things start to twitch and breath.
This amused me for probably 25 or 30 minutes. I got back on my computer and talked to some people, and this time everything I looked at seemed to be dancing.
I got up and went to the bathroom walking was very hard. When I came back, I saw something on my desk. It was like a little ball. I looked at it closer and it unrolled and turned into a huge bug that resembled a praying mantis with wings. I grabbed a roll of paper towels and tried to hit it, but it hissed at me. This freaked me out I screamed like a little girl and turned on my light to get a better look at it.
I was watching Sheep in the Big City funny show. It ended, and I still wasn't feeling shit. I decided to get up and tell my friends via AIM that I wasn't feeling anything. So I got up, but my body was very heavy.
It felt like I weighed twice as much. I also could not balance at all. I felt a rush of panic coming on, but I relaxed and started to enjoy myself. I got on my computer and talked a little more. I decided to watch some more TV until I started tripping heavily. I was very anxious, because I have never hallucinated before. I was really amused by this, and told my friends about it. One of the most amusing things I saw was my hub it's a piece of network hardware , and how it kept on twitching. Almost like it was dancing. I saw a lot of things start to twitch and breath. As I neared the doorframe to the living room, he suddenly jumps up, raised his rear and gave me a menacing look I hadn't seen on him before as he growls angrily, like I was breaking in.
I immediately stop the experiment and book it to my bedroom. I look back before I do, and the dog I was expecting to be chasing me was gone. Thankfully that was the last of the major hallucinations. They only occurred during the first hour of the peak, and after that it was just a moving speck I thought was a bug, or the occasional audio like footsteps up the stairs with nobody making them. I just sat back as the period of confusion slowly subsided, and I was left with a heavy body and walls that breathed with me, and I was content and relaxed again.
After the big shocks, it was really just a weird feeling and a trippy looking reality. The comedown was a bitch for me though, as I finally began to feel tired from the pills.
At least my body did, my mind was still racing and a touch clouded. My body felt like I ran a marathon, but my mind was just starting one. All I wanted to do was sleep, and after a couple hours of angry tossing and turning I finally woke up the next day fresh and anew. Overall, I wouldn't say I enjoyed the experience, but I didn't dislike it either. I can see why some people enjoy it, and why some people would never want to touch it.
I think that seeing hallucinations so real you can't tell them apart from reality is something people in the drug community should experience at least once. Would I do it again?
Maybe, in a while. I've never tripped sucsessfully with any OTC drugs. I've tried a few times with DXM and no luck. I just always end up passing out for some reason even with the non-drowsy formula.
So I decided to try DPH. Cannabis and small amount of alcohol were consumed that day a few hours prior. Slight nausea kicks in, nothing uncontrollable but noticeable. I decide to lay down. I decide I need to use the bathroom.
I walk downstairs, and the lightbulb died in the bathroom. Anyway, I notice the seat looks different, like its moving or melting like as if I was on shrooms or coming down from DMT. Upon closer look I see its these little legs, they kinda look like spiders but they aren't. Just the best way to describe it. I brush them off and they vanish into thin air. Enjoy your sedation and prepare for the trial run. The trial run is so that you are familiar with the general feeling, ambience and impairment of Benadryl.
It is enough to maybe have mild hallucinations but not have full on delirium. It is by and far more uncomfortable than a real trip but necessary so you can decide whether or not you are up to being totally unable to tell reality from hallucination with the drug.
Expect the trip to be about 5 hours but will peak after 3. You can probably go to bed after 4 hours. Well, now you are ready for a full on Benadryl trip. This won't be as uncomfortable as your trail run but it will be unsettling for different reasons.
Trips last about 8 hours although if mg are exceeded, expect 12 hours or more Try not to fall asleep on the come-up and take this a week after your trail run since tolerance to DPH builds up fast. Well, that's all there is to it, enjoy living out your worst nightmares in the strange, bizarre world that is Benadryl.
